Everything about this luxury townhome makes it a rare, downtown gem. It is a comfortable walk to all that downtown Greenville offers. Main Street? The Kroc Center? Falls Park? Fluor Field? The Peace Center? All less than a mile away. This immaculate, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhome has it all: an open floorplan, home office, large bonus room, amazing kitchen, two large balconies, 10-ft ceilings, hickory and bamboo hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, a 3-stop elevator, an enormous 2-car garage, a tankless water heater, and high-speed fiber optic internet, including installed mesh network, plus lots of owner upgrades. A corner unit, it offers extra privacy and additional parking spaces. PLUS: maintenance free living– your Park Place on Hudson HOA fee covers the exterior, roof and landscaping. The Details: Enter the 8-ft solid wood craftsman door into an inviting room filled with natural light that may be used as your dining room, living room, or even will accommodate a grand piano. The sellers have added custom Graber Mezzanine motorized blinds for style and privacy. To the left, is a private office, with a large window to brighten your workspace. As you take the hallway to the heart of this home, you’ll marvel at how the main level with its 10 ft. ceilings, and wide footprint, has the flow and feel of a single-family home. In the hall, directly across from the elevator, is a powder room with a custom vanity designed by a local artist. The extra-large family room incorporates an open kitchen design, just perfect for entertaining. It features a modern gas fireplace, lots of windows, and access to a 25-ft covered outdoor patio with a built-in natural gas grill with stainless steel vent hood. The white, spacious kitchen has upgraded custom cabinets, rough honed granite countertops and all-Jenn Air appliances, including a 6-burner gas range with pot filler. The oversized center island is great for eat-at dining or serving guests. There is a walk-in pantry with generous storage. A Butler’s Pantry connects the kitchen to the dining room and features quartz countertops, a custom-built rack for glassware and a dual-zone Jenn Air wine refrigerator. Upstairs (by stair or elevator) you’ll find bamboo floors, in the hallway and the bedrooms. The laundry closet has a full-size washer/dryer and more storage. The beautiful owner’s suite features custom window treatments room-darkening blinds and drapes, and a large walk-in closet with built-in closet system. The bedroom opens to a private 25-ft patio perfect for star gazing at night or drinking coffee in the morning. The luxuriously appointed owner’s bathroom has an extra-wide entry door, designer tile, a granite vanity top with raised concrete sinks, a heated towel rack and a zero-entry shower with a frameless door. The two upper floor guest bedrooms feature roomy closets with custom-installed shelving and share a tiled hall bathroom. Ground floor level, you’ll find a huge, finished multi-purpose room with wet bar that works as a media room, extra family room, kid’s playroom, or workout room. The adjacent mechanical room offers lots of extra, convenient storage. The huge two-car garage features custom screening on one door, a gleaming epoxy finish floor, outlet for Level 2 electric car charging, great wall storage and room for your bikes, hiking gear, kayak, and workout equipment. The Greenville area served as hunting grounds of the Cherokee Indians until its first European settler, Richard Pearis, arrived in 1770. Greenville County was established after the Revolutionary War, in 1786, and settlers poured into the area. By 1795, the village centered on a log courthouse built near the Reedy River Falls, and the city’s name was later changed to Greenville after Revolutionary War hero, Nathanael Greene. By 1910, Greenville was a thriving cotton town, as grist mills were built along the banks of the Reedy River in the 1830s and the railroad arrived to town in the 1850s. Thousands of Scots-Irish tenant farmers moved to Greenville to seek jobs in the mills, which spelled the beginning of the area’s textile boom. This continued through the 1920s and into the late 1960s. Construction executives lured new industries to the area in the ‘60s, including automotive and tire companies.
